so very cold

I just realized when I get nervous I suddenly get extremely freakishly cold. My fingers feel like icecicles (i think you spelt is wrong) SHUT UP!!!!
*shakes uncontrolably* (spelt that wrong too) *death glare*
so i just thought you should know this, but this blog is too short, time for another random fact. I'm scared of those big mascot things. (what?) you know what i'm talking about, those weird people dressed up like... things that you see a sports things (you mean mascots?) and at disney world(like mickey mouse?)yes and yes. If you still don't know what I talking about than whatever you'll get over it. Anyways, those things creep me out. I used to like them ok, but now they make me shudder *shuders* ugh...

It has felt great outside this week! In theater arts me and my friends haven't had anything to do so we've just been hanging outside, listening to music and talking. I'm still wearing long sleeves, but I'm normally pretty cold while most people are burning up. which reminds me...

Samaire found this article in in Cosmo Girl that said 'Is your friends anorexic?' and this was the day after I had shadowed at her school and at lunch that day I wasn't hungery and all I wanted want Starbux coffee (THEY HAVE STARBUX AT HER SCHOOL???) I KNOW ISN'T THAT AMAZING!!!! I got like 2 coffee things in the whole day. anways I had to literally fight her so I could pay for my starbux coffee 'cause she said I need to eat more or else I'll be anorexic and I'll die and she'd be sad and blah blah blah. I ended up having to get a bag of cheetos along with my coffee and it was this kids birthday so he brought cupcakes and I had 2 of those. ANYWAYS back to my origional story: she thought of me when she saw that and in the articles it said your friend my be anorexic if... 'she's almost always cold even when you're burning up', 'she complains about being pale' which I don't complain, I'm fine with my skin color and I except the fact that I'm pale. The final thing was 'she doesn't wear tight fitting clothes' All of these fit me perfectlly except the last ones stupid, just because I like to wear comfortable clothes does not mean I'm annorexic. Anyways Samaire is all freaked out now and worried about me. She'll get over it.

Fight Against Domestic Violence

Days 'till 18th birthday: 776
So today the Elite Ladies at my school had this walk against domestic violence. When I got there ALL of the elite ladies had these purple shirts on were for the walk, we were supposed to get one before the walk but I forgot and I didn't think we had to get one, but we did, so I baught one and I tried to find someplace to change but the doors to the school was locked and I didn't have anywhere to go so I had to just find someplace away from everyone and strip, that wasn't that hard 'cause everyone was at the track, but every now and then someone would walk by so I had tori keep watch for me. Right as I was finishing she girl walks by, but I don't think she saw me :] anyways we had a million balloons that we had to pass out, but no one wanked one, except the kids ofcourse. The wind didn't help either, a few people lost a whole bundle of ballons. I think everyone lost atleast one balloon. The walk started around 2 and we stretched till 2:30, the stretching part of the stretch was pretty boring but then they played some songs we could dance to like the electric slide and the cha cha slide. All the songs they played were pretty lame, alot of 80's and country stuff :p Half way through the walk we went inside and walked around in the gym, 'cause it looked like it was going to rain outside and we could see lightening. The walk lasted till 5 but the last hour or so we sat around and talked, ate cold stone ice cream (yum :]), ate popcorn, and inhaled helium to make our voices sound funny :D At 5 we called our parents to come pick us up, while we were waiting Mrs.Woods started yelling at us to help clean up and how since we are ELITE now we should be responsible and do this stuff. We thought she had enough help though and we were waiting for our parents so that's why we didn't bother plus there were a bunch of other girls just sitting around doing nothing. RAWR... that women scares me sometimes, her voice is extremely loud. So.. yea the walk turned out good, it was fun, and I'm not sure that I'm signing up for ELITE ladies next year. ttfn :]

I CAN FLY!

Not really (Seriouslly you had me fooled for a second) I know I'm pretty convincing aren't I? I wish I could fly though :[ Anyways... last night was amazing (Woah... I bet it was) It really was. I went to go see Audrey in the play Peter Pan. She was a lost boy, and an amazing one at that! I also saw Katie K playing an Indian and Karrot as a really creepy bunny with rabies. Hose was a lights person. It would be amazing to be able to use the professional lights and be able to work in the more professional like stage, compared to our lame stage and lights., actually they're not that bad, but our theater doesn't look as nice. Audrey actual got to learn how to fly! With the rope thing, where people pull one end and the other end is attached to you and you fly UP UP AND AWAY... so yea, the play was great and afterwards we were running around everywhere trying to find all the people we knew who were in the play and got autographs and hugs from them. We saw this guy who I met when I shadowed at her school, he was a pirate, and when I first met him he was like "My name is Awesome, 'cause I'm awesome" psh, of course, anyways I went up to him and was like, "Hey awesome!" :D he remembered me too and I only saw him for like a minute when we were on our way to Samaire's class. On our way out of the theater me and Samaire linked arm and we went through these double doors, but they had a divider and Samaire went through one door and I tried to go through the other door but I couldn't drag Samaire that way and I ended up running straight into the door divider thing (wow...) i know Im a klutz :] When we left I ended up going with Samaire to go get something to eat and we convinced her parents to let us go to IHOP where the whole cast and crew go after plays to celebrate (stalker much?) well it's not like we didn't know anyone. There was hardly any roombut me and Samaire were able to to share a seat. I love eatting breakfast at 11 at night, it just makes me feel so rebellious :] lol, but I wasn't even hungery I just got some hashbrowns and smothered them in catchup (I want you covered, want you smothered like my waffel house hashbrowns) EXACTLLY!!! 4 of us started singing that song and dancing, even though there was no space, but it was so funny 'cause when ever we got to the part that says getting horny now we stopped just before it and pointed at Karrot and she threw her hands up in the air and yelled it :D. If you don't know the song I'm talking about you should, it's called bad touch by the Bloodhound gang. I'm making a playlist right now and it's on there, when I finish it I'll put it on the page and you can find it. anyways it was loads of fun! and amazing. I wanted to type this all last night but my dad was like, It's late go to bed and no computer. Rawr, o well he let me go eat with everyone so that was cool :] other than that saturday was pretty lazy for me. ttyl ;D

Dr. Who

Yes! So now I'm caught up with my blogs, I was going to start posting them last night but my dad and brother decided that I would like to watch the new Dr.Who series with them. Which I would but I would have rather blog and since my computer is in the playroom/gameroom/ up stair living or what ever we've decided to call it, along with the Tv they randomly decided to use to watch the show. (and so why couldn't you have blogged with them in the room?) BECAUSE! well.. I'm not exactlly sure why but they would ask me what I'm doing and I'd say blogging and they'd ask questions or talk to me about it or whatever. I DON'T KNOW! I'm just a bit paranoid (and crazy) *death glare* ANYWAYS! Dr. Who was disturbing and kind of lame, but the funny kind of lame. Their accents were AMAZING! I love British/Irish/Scotish/Austrailian/Jamacian accents. Dr. Who, the character, had these wierd facial expressions and his eyes always looked like he just seen something shocking! I think I liked the origional series better.

School Projects

Has anyone read A Doll's House? Well my english class did and so last week we had a project to do where we could either make a movie poster, radio ad, paper dols, newspaper, soundtrack, 3 props, etc. all relating to the play. Anyways scruffy bubbles and I did the soundtrack one. It was easy, we each picked out 5 songs and told where the song would go in the play and how it relates. Everything turned out fine but when we get to school we realize that our stupid memorex mix CD wouldn't work in the boombox our teacher had D: We were planning to play parts of a few songs and talk a little about them, but instead we had to tell EVERYTHING about ALL ten songs, RAWR! So that was really annoying but oh well maybe the project in theater arts will make up for that :] we're doing another research project where we pick out some boring old play and write a 2 page paper about the plot structure, who's the protagonist/antagonist, you know stuff like that (that sucks) yeah.. BUT! this time Mrs.Moody gave us the choice of writing our own play! :D (but won't that be kind of hard?) yeah, for the people that dont already have a play written! (WHAT?!!?) ok... a little to excited but that's right I already have a play written *looks triumphant*. I DEFINETLY can't take all the credit for myself; Samaire, Audrey, Kiwi, and Kat also worked on it. Samaire did most of the work though. Thank you Sam! It's amazing and when we finish writting the script we'll film it and put it on Youtube! :D but don't hold us to that. Uh... that's it for now. Ta ta for now.

Band Update :D

So I finally heard the song the lead guitarist made, it's AMAZING! But his cords to record the actual guirtar sound to his computer were messed up so he had to use some kind of mixer. It still sounds great, it's just going to make it harder for me to come up with anything on the keyboard since it already has an electronic/keyboard like sound. We've thought of some more names that fit the acronym SYN, tell me which one you like the best on the poll on I'll put up on the side --> I think my favorite is Sincerely Your Nightmare :D We still need a drummer and a bassist. *sigh* Anyways that's it for now. Drama!

So last thursday in theater arts we were in the auditorium cleaning out the wings and painting the bridge for the play the drama club is doing, Brigadoon. (Wow you were cleaning?) ok no, me, austrailia, and gir were sitting in the hall way, but ANYWAYS... someone came out of the auditorium and was like, " they found a dead bird." we had to check it out ofcourse and at first when we saw it we thought it was fake, but it wasn't. It was so sad, the bird was big and pretty (how is a dead bird pretty?) I think all animals are either, pretty, cute, amazing, ect. We don't know how the bird died, but it had a hole in its side, which was wierd. Mrs.Moody (who's that?) my theater arts teacher. She was all like, "Just throw the bird in the trash!" but KC wanted to give it a funeral and since we didn't have anything better to do, that's what we did. No body wanted to touch the bird so JK got a hanger and hooked it around the bird leg and took it outside. So then it was KC, JK, CD, Austrailia, Gir, and me outside with a shovel and a dead bird on a hanger, lol... Me and my friends really just sat outside and watched everyone else(ya'll guys are lazy) yes i know. Someone ended up naming the bird Charlie Shakespeare for it's love for the theater :] When CD finished digging the hole they burried the and decorated it's grave with grass and flowers. Someone even made a little cross! We found a brick that was broken in half and so JK wrote CS on it and that became it's tombstone. A few people came out looked at the grave and some made up testimonials :D we even had a teacher and two students stopped and watching us. Me and my friends added a few flowers and blew dandilions over the grave. Anyways it was pretty fun, better than just sitting there with nothing to do. We all figured that someone would probablly come and mess the grave up, but the next day it had more flowers and someone made a little fence around it with popsicle sticks :] The grave even stayed up over the weekend, someone added 2 rock and wrapped a gold chain around the cross. So now the grave has lasted a week but yesterday it looked like someone had kicked. They didn't mess it up too bad and we were able to fix it :] I'll tell you when someone messes it up beyond repair, for now heres some pictures I took with my camera phone.

So at my school we have 4 periods in a day, my 1st period class is civics, last week we went over the views of the democratic and republican parties. Back when I had honors civics with Mrs.Tripken, she had us find out what political party we belong to. We were supposed to read about thier views on different issues and pick which group we agreed with the most. I went home and looked up the stuff but I got bored and just decided to take a quiz to see which political party I belonged to instead :P. The quiz said I was democratic and so I just went with that, but now that I really know the views of the democrats I can say with full confidence that I am democratic. For those of you who don't know which political party you belong to, I hope this helps:

Abortion:
Democrats: it's a womans right and should be legal
Republicans: should be illegal and restricted by government.
Me (that's not a political party) yes I know, but I just wanted to voice my opinion. I don't completely feel the way the democrats do on some issues anyways: This is the only view where I agree more with the republicans. Unless the woman was raped, I think the woman should have the baby. If you don't want to have a baby you shouldn't have sex, or you should atleast use as much protection as possible. For some girls abortion is just another form of birth control. I just think it's wrong and if you were stupid enough to have sex before you were completely ready than you should have to deal with the consequences, what ever they maybe. Sex is meant to be special and you shouldn't have it unless you don't mind having a babyand you shouldn't have a baby unless you can handle the responsibility and you truely love the father/mother and you plan on spend the rest of your life with him/her. Its not fair to the child to make them go through the stress of living with divorced or a single parent.

Flag burning:
Democrats:it is a political speech and is protected by the constitution.
Republicans: flag should be protected from burning by a constitutional amendment.
Me: I don't really care that much about flag burning. It is symbolic of your anger with the government, but can also be seen as a threat to the governemnt. I can understand both sides of this arguement.

Gun control:
Democrats: Favor gun control/ It is needed
Republicans: Oppose gun control/ It's unconstitutional
Me: Guns and knifes aren't absolutely needed to defend yourself. Yes it does help, but I think the world would be alot safer I only people working for the law had access to guns.

Environment:
Democtrats: strong regulations are needed to protect the environment.
Republican: stong environmental laws harm the economy.
Me: I'm all for saving the environment and I think if the government made everyone change a few small things the economy would improve as well as the environment. Seriouslly guys it's not that hard to make a difference.

Race relations:
Democrats: Strong anti-discrimination laws are needed. Favor affirmative action.
Republicans: People and businesses can be trusted not to discriminate. Many oppose affirmative action.
Me: It'd be nice if we could trust everyone, but you know in reality that many businesses do discriminate.

Minimum Wage:
Democrats: Favor/ increase the minimum wage to help workers
Republicans: Oppose/ do not raise it because it hurts businesses.
Me: I guess for some cimpanies it could hurt them, but there are some big businesses that are making way to much money. If minimum wage was increased, the lives of many would probably improve.

Healthcare:
Democtrats: Government should require universal access to healthcare.
Republicans: Private insurers are preferable to a government controlled system.
Me: If healthcare was required and was made more affordable, we wouldn't have to waste money treating conditions that would have been much cheaper and easier to treat if it was caught ealier, but wasn't because the person didn't or couldn't afford to have healthcare.

Taxes:
Democrats: raise taxes on the wealthy to pay for public programs.
Republican: cutting taxes for everyone helps the economy.
Me: I think the wealthy should have taxes increase since they have more money to spend on useless stuff. If we did this the government would have more money to spend on public programs to improve them and help everyone.

Military:
Democtrats: Cut military spending, expand veterans benefits; act in concert with other nations and/or with support from NATO and the UN.
Republican: Increase military spending; cut veterans benefits; don't be constrained by other nations or by NATO and the UN.
Me: I don't know much about this issue, but from what I do know I can say I agree with the democrats.

Death Penalty:
Democrats: Oppose/ It's not a deterrent and innocent people are in jeopardy.
Republicans: Favor/ The death penalty is necessary and effective.
Me: I don't think the death penalty works. Some people don't care if they live or die so the death penalty doesn't mean anything to them. Instead of killing the people on death row when thier day comes they should be sent to a labortory to have things tested on them, instead of innocent animals. And you base how harsh the test are on how much undeniable evidence you have on that person and what the crime was. Then the innocent people can still be released if found not guilty and the test results will be much more accurate.

Prayer in School:
Democrats: Oppose/ Violation of the seperation between church and state.
Republicans: Favor/ it is a religious right and our christian heritage.
Me: Not everyone is christian and it would be a waste of time to take time out of class to pray, unless its a religion class.

Gay rights:
Democrats: Favor/ Gays rights and marriage are civil rights.
Republicans: Oppose/ Marriage is a sacred trust between a man and a woman.
Me: You already know how I feel about this from my Religion? blog.

War in Iraq:
Democrats: favored at 1st but now criticize president Bush for messing it up. Want to get more countries support and want a defined exit strategy.
Republicans: President Bush stated 8-21-06 that the U.S. will not leave Iraq until the job is done. Admits to mistakes in Iraq and says it will be a tough fight. They hope Iraq's new government and people will eventually be stable enough in several years for U.S.s withdrawal.
Me: OK so I don't know much about this issue either, but it does feel like its gone on long enough. We need to leave but we shouldn't do it so soon that Iraq goes back to the way it was.

Finished! sorry this blog was probablly a bit boring, but more people need to learn about the government before criticizing it. All this stuff comes from note I took in my civics class. If I messed up on something please tell so I can fix, I don't want to look like an ignorant jerk. So... yea tell me your opinions and I'll talk to you later.

im srry ppl who i like to think read my blog. i tried posting everyday but i get too much homework and if im not doin that im doin chores or iv totally forgotten about you and im off doin wat ever. (geez brooke wat happened to ur amazing spelling???) srry im in AIM/TXTing mode, i'll change wat ever spell checking catches, ok never mind i just hit spell check and it;s highlighted a million things. im very lazy today, but thats not what i came to talk about! i get bored during some of my classes and 2 weeks ago i was all like im goin to post something here everyday! so i during those boring classes i prewrote the blogs i was goin to post, but i never got around to posting them and iv continued to write my future blog entries in my notebook. now i have tons of pages of blogs and i AM NOT goin to just throw them away, im goin to post them. (why r u telling us this?) but then iv been debating wether to just mash 'em all into one, but then itd be supper long and ya'll guys would get bored and it just wouldn't work. so even tho its goin to annoy me, im goin to post multiple blogs in a day. Religion?

I don't get christianity sometimes, well most the time. I grew up thinking that god and jesus loves EVERYONE unconditionally, but that was before I knew gay people and that animals were killed inhumanelly and didn't even get to live a natural life before getting murder. By the way I found a BUNCH of info on vegetarianism to show him that meat is bad for you. Anyways, I've argued with people who say that marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman and I try to say that god didn't make marriage, but scruffy bubbles said he did, and he's much more into religion than I am so I didnt bother arguing against him. Scruffy bubbles also said that god destroyed a whole town because there were to man gay people living there and if thats true than I have completely given up on christianity. I signed a petition one year in school to fight against people who bully gay and bi people and we got a sticker for signing, this one girl in my class saw the sticker and asked me what it meant and I told her, then she went off on some stupid rant about how people are supposed to be straight and god didn't make them gay so therefore all gay and bi people deserve to die. It was sooo freaking annoying. People don't just wake up in the morning and say hey I'm going to love this person today, they just don't. Well.. I guess they could but they wouldn't truelly love them. Love happens when two peoples eyes meet and something special is felt between them. Love is never wrong, no matter what, and if someone tries to tell you any different they don't truelly know what love is. Scruffy Bubbles said at his church his preacher said we can't consider ourselfs true christians if we hate gay people, instead we are supposed to pray for them, so that they might change thier view. This is better than how the girl in my class viewed gay people, but still, gay people are perfectlly normal and don't need to change. I don't like putting love into categories like this anyways, love has no boundaries. And animals are no different than humans too. Yeah there are some physical differences, but they still feel pain like us, they can feel sad, angery, and lonely just like we do. I think if it can feel pain it deserves to live, unless you have to kill it in order for you to live. I could go on for ours about how being vegetarian or vegan is the right thing to do, but I'd probably mess some information up. So instead me giving you a bunch of false information just look in my links section over there --> I really like the vegetarian FAQ, on page 22, in the vegetarian starter guide, so atleast read that. I know some people have a problem with PETA but as far as I know this website is not. I still like PETA, but I still question how trust worthy they are, but PETA has helped me a TON to learn about vegetarianism and other animal rights things, but I can totally understand why some people don't like PETA, but some people are just hard headed jerk that refuse to learn anything new. Oh well, I'm still going to try to educate as many people I can on the wonders of vegetarianism and wether or not they convert is up to them. Crazy Vegetarian Rant

Yay!!! I'm back, Iv been grounded forever! but now I'm back to fill your brain with more useless crap! aren't you lucky? 1st off if anyone reading this knows of some good website or places to get good vegetarian food or clothing please tell me, that would be great!(Oh but Brooke where oh where do you live?) Look in the "Who am I?" section to the right, Jesus Luisus people! I'll put up some of my favorite vegetarian and vegan websites. But anyways, I've been in a bad mood these past couple day. I'm just so stressed out Iv got so many decisions to make and things to do before i turn 18! By the way I think my band finally has a name, or an idea of what its going to be like. The lead guitar player wrote a song, which I have yet to hear, but it has this story to it that's about a girl who's just out of college and she finds this genie called syn. I don't remember the whole story but anyways he takes her wishes and twists them around and makes bad stuff happen. Apparently it going to be soft metal, which is awesome!!! I met him Thursday when I shadowed at Samaire's and Audrey's school, I didn't really get a chance to talk to him but when I did I suggested the idea I had for the band name which came from his story for the song. I thought our name should be something like S.incerely Y.our N.emesis or anything where if you take the first letter of each word it spell SYN (like the genie!!!) yes like the genie. When I told him he just sorta stared out into space, but when Samaire talked to him, he said he was just kind of freaked out because I just jumped out of no where and started talking about the band (did he not know you're in the band too?) yes he knew but had forgotten, plus he didn't know Samaire had told me about his song idea, but anyways he loved the idea. I want to try and find some other words we can use but this was just the first thing that popped into my head :D we still need a drummer and bassist, I think I'll just go around asking everyone I know if they play drums or bass and if they want to join our band. So anyways I've been working hard on the tats I plan on getting when i turn 18 :D I can't wait! When I get some of them finished I'll upload them to photobucket and make a slide show so you can see them and comment on them, they will probably never be completely finished until I get them permanently inked onto my skin, but before I do that I'm definitely talking with the person who's going to be bringing my dreams to life and i want them to redraw it more professionally and put their input into how it looks. I'm going to go back to researching the pros and cons of vegetarianism. My friend scruffy bubble (LOL how did he get a name like that???) I know, its wierd but apparently he did some project at school where he had to be a weather guy and his name was scruffy bubbles and everyone just started calling him that. But anyways he made me go off on a crazy vegetarian rant because he kept saying how you need meat and just a bunch of other annoying stuff, but he said that he won't admit that being vegetarian is good for you until I can prove to him that it is, and I need to give him scientific facts showing both the pros and the cons. So wish me luck, he is very hard headed. ta ta for now! <3
